Marble RUn Boxes: Group Work

We finished up the marble run box project. Once students perfected their individual boxes I went to their classroom for a special lesson. In their normal table workgroups, they worked to join all the marble runs in their group together. This meant they had to make adjustments to their individual boxes to make the group run work.

After we had a debriefing session and talked about how we all have our individual ways of working and how we have to make adjustments when we work with others. It was not a subtle metaphor, but the concrete nature of the work seems to really resonate. I will definitely do this lesson again.
